Using the mac allowed me to use a number of software products such as Final Cut, something that Windows computers wouldn't allowed to do. It also allowed me to make my product look much more professional done on professional software. These machines are also much more powerful than typical computers which benefited my product as there was much more storage for my more complicated products such as using Photoshop for my product.
Using the professional cameras allowed me to take well shot images of my models which when placed onto my product would make my magazine look much more professional. My models could therefore also feel more comfortable in front of a professional camera and would therefore give me better, cleaner images.
Using the tripod in my photography made it much easier to take pictures as I could set up the shot a lot better and therefore benefited my magazines because it allowed me to take much more professional looking images.
Using the lighting set up again allowed me to take much more professional looking images as it gave me much clearer, well lit images. Again it made my models feel more comfortable as they were working in a professional looking studio which as a result gave me more professional looking images.

Using Photoshop in the production of my magazine gave me a much more professional product with all the tools it allowed me to use, even if it is quite a complex way to make the products. Tools such as Fx allowed me to make my product look a lot more visually interesting and it would stand out to the reader. Also the use of layering allowed me to place sell lines and my models where I wanted them to go, which allowed me to specify to the pop genre magazine I was aiming for because it allowed me to create clean looking product that didn't look too busy. This as a whole therefore benefited my production.
When creating my product with InDesign it allowed me to format text around my double page spread which was very helpful when writing my article. Because of this I could set out my double page spread exactly how I wanted to which again made my product look much more professional and also another tool which helped me is the image placement tool as it allowed me to size and place my images correctly again giving me a much more professional looking product.
Prezi helped me a lot with audience research as I could set it all out very clearly, and also clearly compare my products with professional looking products. This therefore gave me an idea of what my product would need to look like to compete with professional products that are currently on the market.
Blogger helped me as it was a way to access outstanding work that I had to do which gave me notice of all work I need to complete, it also allowed me to look back on my progress and refer to previous work I had done which was helpful when creating my product as I could just have a look for audience research back on my blog. It was a good way of storing work as I knew where I could find all my work and also it taught my how to use new technologies as I could embed things such as Prezi onto my blog
Slideshare benefited me when created my product as I could embed previous work I had made on Powerpoint onto my blog and gave me an online storage of work, therefore I knew I would never lose work I had made this way as it stored it online and also Powerpoint again allowed me to place my audience research on a program and could always refer back to it.
